How It Works · 4 Steps
Step 1 · Design & check out
Build your look, select "Customize Your Own," and complete checkout.
Step 2 · Prep & pack
Remove Xbox batteries, include your invoice or order slip, and pad the controller in a sturdy box.
Step 3 · Ship & send tracking
Mail it to our Mail-In Department and email us your tracking and order number.
Step 4 · We build & return it
We test, customize, and ship it back to you with free return shipping.

Customer pays shipping to us. We recommend USPS Ground Advantage or Priority Mail. Please ship within 14 days of your order.
What goes in the box
Your controller only. No cables, chargers, or original boxes needed.
A printed copy of your invoice or receipt. No printer? Write your order number, full name, phone number, and email on a slip of paper.
Padding on all sides. Bubble wrap or foam in a sturdy box, not a thin envelope.
Batteries
Xbox Series X|S: Remove all AA batteries and rechargeable battery packs. Keep them at home.
PS5 DualSense: The lithium-ion battery is built in. Leave it in place.

Every controller is tested before we customize it. If we find damage or a defect, we'll contact you before doing any work. It may require an additional repair charge, or it may not be eligible for customization.
Turnaround
Your build follows the processing option chosen at checkout (Standard, Priority, or Rush), starting the day we receive your controller. Most mail-in orders ship back within about a week of arrival.
Local Drop-Off
Skip the shipping. Bring your controller and order number to our showroom at 8003 Transit Road, East Amherst, Monday–Friday, 10 AM–5 PM.
Shipping Responsibility
We're not responsible for packages lost or damaged on the way to us. Use a tracked service; insurance is optional but recommended.
Free Return Shipping
Once your build is complete and quality tested, we ship it back to you at no extra cost.

What if my controller doesn't pass inspection?
We'll reach out before doing any work and either quote an additional repair charge or let you know it can't be customized.
Who pays for shipping?
You cover shipping to us. Return shipping is free and included in your order.
I don't have a printer. What do I include?
A handwritten slip with your order number, full name, phone number, and email works perfectly.
Can I send an Elite Series 2 or PS4 controller?
No. Mail-in service covers authentic Xbox Series X|S and PS5 DualSense controllers only.
